Wayne from Hudson, Colorado, United States made available these photos of his 1954 Harley Model KH Flathead 54. Looks familiar? Don't be surprised: what you're looking at is the predecessor of the Sportster. It's just that this vintage motorcycle has a 54 cubic inch "Flathead" Side Valve engine, otherwise the design and styling of the early Sportsters that were introduced in 1957 is almost the same.
