1942 Flathead Camouflage Bobber
Thank God There's Harleys... So, let's show them!
Rico from Huettisheim-Humlangen in Germany sent us these pictures of his brother's beautiful 1942 WLA Flathead Camouflage Bobber which is wearing a desert camouflage military paint scheme. The styling of her custom underslung gas tank goes back to the Harleys and Indians of the 1920's and 30's.
Rico: "Andre's 1942 model 45 WLA Harley Davidson. This bike has been completely restored, from a rusty second world war bike up to a unique old school Custom Bobber. Engine (45 cubic inch) and transmission rebuilt, frame powder coated, paint in a vintage used style, rarely chrome, custom made gas tank, oil tank, seat, exhaust, struts by 'Area 45 Cycles'. 21" rim in the front and 15" rim in the back, open belt transmission.
Keep the rubber right down! Rico "

Rico: "I was just curious if you are interested in what was build across the Atlantic and in view of you response... you are... which makes me and my brother happy!"
Rico on the bluewall rear tire: " ;o) Right... it's the blue plastic protection wrap that was not yet removed at this time..."
Rico: "The statment 'Old School Mob' refers to all people who are in love with old style motorcycles and hot rods like rockabillys and rockers."
