Mike from Rollinsford, New Haven, United States, made available these photos of his 1938 Harley VL Flathead bobber motorcycle project. The Flathead 74 cubic inch engine is not yet complete.
This flat head engine is combined with a 4 speed tranny.
This photo gives a good idea of how the flathead side valve engine breathes.
